Questions from my kids, can you please help???

So tonight after a long tiring day I arrived home after standing in line at the grocery store for 3 hours waiting my turn to have a chance at a loaf of stale bread, a small bag of rice and bottle of milk.  As I was greeted at the door my children looked at me expectantly to see what goods I had been able to acquire.  I have to say I felt a little ashamed as I saw the hunger and anticipation in their eyes and thought how little can I take without hurting them and making them feel guilty for taking food from their mother.

And as I took the time to boil water to prepare the rice and what little I could scavenge from the bare cupboards,  I wasn’t surprised that the kids asked if I could answer a few questions for them….  What were those questions do you ask?  Let me share them with you now.  

My son who as a young man feels the bitter sting of youth passing him by with no chance at a promising future as a businessman, farmer, or  laborer as he knows our past generations thrived in our family started off by asking these questions:

“Mom, remember all the time you invested in running me around to baseball, football and wrestling practice?  Well during that time did you ever wonder what importance these activities would play in my life?   Did you ever think that by the time I was able to move out and start a career that I wouldn’t have that chance and that at 30 years of age I would still be living at home with you??”

And here my daughter piped in  ” mom if you knew what you know now would you have done anything different?”  ” Did you know that we would have to tip toe around ever careful of what we said and careful not to upset or offend our government operatives for fear of our rations being taken away, or property taken from us?”

And then the question started flying fast and furiously, as they knew they needed to let the questions pour out and air out in the quiet of our home before the anger and the frustration bubbled out in front of those who would turn us in for the slightest offence in hopes of a reward that would benefit them…

“Why did you let them take away your guns?  Why did you let them tell you where you could work, when you could work and what you were allowed to produce?  Why would you allow them to take the old family farm where we were able to grow crops that we wanted and needed that we used for our livelihood?  Why did you not speak up when you were paying taxes at a 7% rate, 25% rate, 45% rate?  Why didn’t you speak up, why didn’t you protest, speak out, beg others to see the writing on the wall!!?? Why did you keep investing hours in things that when it comes down to it don’t matter, that are a distant memory, that gave us a taste of freedom and a life that we can never have again, and our children if we are allowed to have children, they will never get to experience???   How could this all come to be?  Didn’t you know better?  Didn’t you discuss our vanishing rights and freedoms with other people who cared?  Did everyone actually choose to live like this???”

Well here is how I answered or if you haven’t already guessed, these are the hypothetical questions I can picture my children asking me in 10 years 15 years max at the rate we are ALLOWING ourselves to be put in a position to have to answer.

Kids, I know that sometimes I was kept busy with things you may not have understood, or you may not have cared about at the time but I did try.  I tried to get my fellow citizens to appreciate all the wonderful freedoms that our forefathers fought and died for.  I tried to impress upon them that whether it be by a phone call, email, or by attending a meeting,  1 hour a week, month, a year that we needed each and everyone speak out for our right to property, the right to bear arms, the God given right to earn a living without being taxed to death.  And many people heard me, believed me, but thought they had time, time to either fix things if they got too bad, or as long as it didn’t affect them personally then how bad could it be.  They thought that the government was there to help them, to protect them, never realizing that by growing larger and less restricted and unfettered that the government could be taken over by those who actually wished to enslave, indoctrinate and destroy the very freedoms and lives it originally started out to protect.  Or maybe they thought that a few of us could save them all from themselves. From the evil that was growing and choking out the bright futures that each and everyone of them thought you our children would be able to experience as they had experienced, their parents experienced and the generations previous experienced. 

I don’t mean to cast blame, or to guilt anyone to into believing as I believe or anything other then encouraging each and everyone to take stock in your life.  Do you enjoy the right to bear arms?  Do you enjoy working for a living?  Do you enjoy owning property and making decisions for yourself and your family?  Do you understand that as things stand the chances of your children being able to survive and thrive are slipping away and once lost it will be slim to none that they ever get the chances we had, our parents and their parents had?

Our rights are being stripped from us one by one, little by little in hopes that one day every aspect of your life and your child’s life will be decided by Masters, masters from the government plantation will plan and plot their lives for them from cradle to grave, and if you want to be fed, housed and allowed to walk about in the restricted freedom that’s allotted you, you best play by their rules, which are never written in stone, rules that change with the wind in order for the government to remain all powerful, all knowing, all ruling.

I give you the following truths, facts that you  will hopefully look into for your own satisfaction.  I am not pulling them from thin air, I have the proof to back them up.  I ask you to think, think of what you want for your children think of what you do for your kids so they can enjoy all the activities, freedoms they current have.  Do you have time to continue to ignore the changes on our horizon in hopes that things turn out for the best?  Do you want to look  into your children’s eyes and have to answer their questions knowing you could have made a difference and whether it does make a difference or not do you want to risk telling them you knew what was going on and you did nothing to help save them, to help save the future for their children and for the children of the world? 

1. Income tax:  I have a God given right to earn a living without taxation. 
2. Property Tax: outrageously high and repetitive
3. Sales Tax: outrageously high and prohibitive to those trying to make their way in this world
4. All three reduce business opportunities for the citizens of this United States of America as well as discourage businesses from relocating or starting a business.  Nebraska has been ranked 3^rd worst state in the nation for Taxes that’s UNREAL. 
5. A Fair tax or consumption tax drives business, development and a prosperous nation with prosperous citizens.
6. Illegals, by pushing for amnesty and allowing our nation to become a magnet for criminals and terrorists  alike  you not only waste and use my tax money for illegal purposes, but you endanger the lives of every citizen in this nation.  25 Americans die at the hands of an illegal alien each and every day.  Be it by DUI, rape, murder the list goes on and on.  Illegal is  not  a race it’s a crime.  And to expect law abiding tax paying citizens to continue with this practice is criminal.
7. The overreach of the federal government into our daily lives and the silence and capitulation by the elected officials, career politicians who are in it for themselves, not for the citizens and the future of a nations, this has been devastating and continues to plague our lives.  200 Agents, 8 helicopters and snipers  were able to wrangle cattle this weekend, but we cannot secure the border or remove illegals. BS  The EPA is restricting businesses and ruining family farms while allowing corporations and the government to put them out of business, telling them how they can do business and costing them dearly.  The next grab is water rights and once they control water and the farm industry, then they decide who eats, how much they eat and when they get to eat. 
8. Obamacare is against my personal liberties and should never have gone as far as it has, but for the silence of the Democrats is to be expected and from the Republicans  whom we thought to have some common sense and as  who mostly have been disappointing  and deafening, we do not want to repair or fix it, we want it repealed.   My healthcare has been ruined and not only do I pay  more, I have less coverage.  I have told my children they had better be gravely ill before they ever need to be seen because I cannot afford it. ( unless I pretend they are illegal or that I am unemployed)
9. Entitlements.  The welfare system both state and federally has run away and lost common sense.  Its unfixable and needs removed period.  Turn to churches, business and private organizations there is no other way to repair this, people have become generational life time users of the system and they will not give it up, they in fact feel entitled and further abuse the system each and every year, on the back of workers who are being pushed to  levels of taxation that are unfair and unreasonable.

No more complacency, compliance and agreement with the destruction of my liberties and my children’s future.  That’s my proposal for you.  We need immediate fixes and if they do not happen rapidly you won’t need to run for office again, people will be appointed and citizens will be nothing more than cogs in the wheel of a  giant communist  machine.

We are there and we have surpassed any level of acceptance.    I ask any of you who truly care for your children to actively join with your local tea parties, independents and libertarians, anyone whom you can find to work with to immediately correct and repair the damages we have allowed to slip past us.   Anytime you invest is well worth your child’s future happiness and prosperity. 

Your children and their children thank you for any and all efforts in helping secure their freedom and chances for a happy future.

Voting for the future…….

So recently while attending a function a gentleman came up and started visiting with me about a candidate he’s working for in the upcoming elections.   I was more than happy to chat for a minute and most likely I scared him off.   Why you ask would an opinionated, exasperated, frustrated woman like me scare him????  Well to make it short and sweet,  I laid my opinions out for him in a brief 2-3 minute speech.  While I truly believe the candidate he is working for is most likely the best candidate for the position, I explained a few reasons why he may not get elected and why I feel our great nation stands on the edge of the cliff, we are either going to step back or jump off one or the the other.  There is no more middle ground and it’s time for the powers that be in the Republican Party admit that to themselves if they have not already.   If I had the republican leadership in front of me here is what I would say.   

Dear Republican Party leadership,  I was raised conservative! raised republican and I have actively campaigned for your party since the age of 10.  I have written letters, debated, protested, voted when of age, put up signs in my yard, on my cars, and driven my family crazy with letters to editors and family dinners where politics dominated discussions and those who cared less fled the room in hopes of finding some peace and quiet.   4 years ago I awakened from the college atmosphere stupor and realized that the United States is no more than a corporation that funds your career as well as your offspring a career.  For both democrat and republican alike keeping the American public arguing over our leadership as if it’s a college football rivalry has left us literally and figuratively in a deep dark place that no one seems smart enough to emerge from.    the Republican Party in collusion with the democrat party have stolen from the American people the rights that our forefathers and the constitution granted us.   My future and my children’s future has not grown brighter in the past decade if anything it has grown dimmer and while the light ahead of us still flickers, you the Republican Party are quickly extinguishing any hope for future generations to live in the land of the free and the home of the brave.

my local leadership continues to argue over Obamacare procedure, the website and other bs, when sir, you should have stood with Ted Cruz and denounced the tyranny, and treason that forces me to purchase health care, which steals away the great plan my family had and cost me more of what little income I have.  Sir you should be taking a pay cut, be forced to have the same healthcare plan you illegally allow me to be forced into.  You should be screaming from your office, to the house floor you were elected to, that no elected person should have greater benefits than our soldiers who risk their very lives as well as their families livelihoods each and everyday.  To allow cuts to our military while our bloated government officials continue to gorge on the lifeblood of the hard working American and American soldiers is blasphemous!!

the democrat leadership while they stay true to their deceptive nature and colors stand above, above the republican leadership, why you ask?  Because they at least are obvious and usually honest about the way they want the USSA run, while you the republican leadership work in the hidden shadows continuing to spout the lies that you need to get you elected while working hand in hand with democrats to increase my taxes, relieve my children of a good education (oh yes the great institution that is the American public school education. That turns our children into the good Hitler/republican/democrat youth of tomorrow, nothing more than cogs in a wheel taught to not question authority, turn over your money, never think for yourself), pushing forward your own agendas to keep yourself in office, to further your career while dooming the American people to tyranny and a dark dark future.

while once I was hopeful, 4 years ago I realized that without a purge of 90% of republican leadership, elected and non elected, the America people do not stand a chance.   So while I hope the candidate I spoke of earlier is elected, I hope he realizes the challenges he faces.  Democrats who have a vote base of delusional and paid for voters, and the republicans you ask who is left to vote for them??   Some deluded people born and raised republican, some people who believe the bs that comes from the party and the rest of us who have fled in droves to the libertarian and independent party well you may capture a few of our votes, but by your actions you have doomed yourselves.   

Ponder the following idiocy and maybe that will answer my families questions as to why I am such a pessimist.

To cash a check, open an account, to drive a car, I need to have a photo id, yet to vote this is not necessary???

I work harder each and every week to pay for my home, car, food, children’s expenses……and to pay taxes so that others can stay home in a house we the people pay for, to eat groceries I pay for, to talk on a phone I pay for, to have healthcare I pay for, to send their children illegal or not to a school I pay for, to purchase clothes I pay for…have I left anything out??   my question to each elected leader I meet remains unchanged:   Why should I ever encourage my children to work????  Not one politician has answered my question.  They must know with cradle to grave care, be it minimal or at a maximum is detrimental to any work ethic…could this be why we have so many illegitimate children, and generations of welfare????  ASSININE!!!

92 million unemployed, our porous borders over run, our government who has burdened us with a grim financial future, but sure let’s grant amnesty to illegals, who by the very nature of being here have committed a crime agains the United states and her citizens. But I ask which pesky laws do I get to pick and choose to follow, what can I in exchange for being silent on amnesty be allowed to get away with????  As if I would stoop to the level of our politicians who with their very silence condemn Americans to death by crime, poverty and accidents caused by illegals and at no less fault themselves.  So illegals can break laws, suck off the government teat…my children and I must pay for this and break no laws,  got it. 

fair tax…taxation based on consumption, hurts no one other than the government machine, with the caveat, you must be working.   To be taxed on property I have paid taxes on once, (my car, my home, property) is wrong and a drain on the entire economy, for what you steal from me I cannot spend!!   I have a god given right to earn a living, you do not have a right to tax me on this.

 

Our government as run now by republican and democrat is corrupt, bloated, downright misguided and evil, and while hope may still flicker for some, I see an uneducated, paid for, could care less there is a football game on tv voting or most likely non voting public that will aid our corrupt politicians in the elimination of all future dreams for a once great nation..

in summary and not a direct quote, however Thomas Jefferson said it best when he said…… When you take from those who work to give to those who won’t, that is the end of democracy.     And I don’t know any taker, be it a welfare recipient, an illegal or a crook that could possibly be more to blame then the American government and it’s elected body.
