Real Action, It is possible

When I bemoan the apathy of the American people, and her general malaise when it comes to our liberty, freedom and general welfare, sometimes I see a light a brief glimpse or flicker of hope. Case in point the ALS ice challenge that has swept the nation.
The craze that has raised millions of dollars and that has had nearly every single person I know posting online the challenge accepted by parents and children, neighbors, coworkers, friends etc etc….. is for a great cause. ALS is a deadly debilitating disease so I gladly wish this challenge and the success of this challenge well.
It does also bring to mind many other issues and threats that face Americans. Isis, the open borders, (25 citizens die at the hands of illegals EVERY DAY) the IRS, the economy, politicians, violence, our children’s futures….. All of these things should be pressing on the minds of Americans. Why can we not get as much or a 1/4 or 1/2 as much attention as the ALS Ice challenge?
How about this I challenge anyone who wants a future, wants a future for their children, wants to retain our liberties and regain past freedoms that are being stolen by elitist left and right politicians…I challenge you all get involved. It will take sacrifice, of time, energy, and much much more but if we cannot challenge our friends, family and neighbors to participate, if we cannot get them to participate then well the pessimist in me says take care of what’s at home and forget the rest. The optimist in me wants to save them all…..
Get involved make sure to attend local, state, federal meetings. Those in charge get away with the state of our society, economy and more because no one is shaming them or holding them responsible. Find your local groups …….some of the groups or people I follow NEBRASKA TAX PAYERS FOR FREEDOM, BUILD NEBRASKA, Mark Levin, Michael Savage, Ben Carson listen learn and then be willing to take a stand.
Media of all forms is great, but to easy to ignore. YOU must be seen.
I challenge you all today, accept the rights and duties you have been given, vote, follow, be heard and listen, stand and make yourself known or everything our forefathers worked for died for, may be in vain and lost forever to history, and a short illustrious history at that.

Waking up and Overcoming Disappointment

Nebraska looking at the poll results …deep sigh….looks like the ho hum Nebraska nice status quo is what this state wants… Guess we now have a shot at 1st place in the race to worst state for taxes.

Disappointed is the nicest word I can think of…… Back to work I have millions of federal and state programs to pay for ..

… Has liberty and the pursuit of happiness completely been killed off?? Are we so blind that we can’t see the dirty two party system not only fails us but ruins the chance at a bright future for our children? Seriously not only disappointed at the results, but the numbers, it’s your duty to vote, no excuses to not. I will aspire to wake up tomorrow with the thought the battle may be lost but the war is not over. When will you join in the fight to reclaim our God given rights and liberties? Or will you be content to leave your children with the debts they can never repay, with the loss of freedoms, happiness and a chance to be all that they can and want to be. I implore those who can wake up and join us before we all end up facing the fate of the masses that have gone before us, always thinking it cannot get worse, later weeping and wailing as they try to explain to their offspring that they never knew it would get this bad. It can it will if you do not take the time to get involved, the powers that be are insuring it through elections such as this.

If we continue on as we do with a few people getting involved, even less voting we are sealing our fate. It just takes 1 action by each person to turn this around. Are our kids not worth our best efforts? Social media, letters to elected officials, letters to editors, showing up at meetings, heeding the call to speak out and be heard at our capitals…take your pick do one and help us help ourselves, our children our future.

To Attend or Not to Attend Farming Water Rights

Patriots and citizens we stand on the brink of the abyss and it’s your individual responsibility and decisions that will help make the  final swing decision, do we roll down the evolutionary hill back to the dark ages or continue to progress toward the bright lights in the ever further distant horizon of liberty??  

When reading up on one of my states local government bodies I was chilled to the bone at the implications of the machinations that are going on behind closed and OPEN doors.  We have forgotten our civic duties of attending to and keeping our chosen form of government in line.  While many have been enjoying the prosperity of past generations hard blood tears and sweat, we have neglected and allowed the powers that be to greedily infringe, regulate and out and out steal our freedoms.  Freedom of life liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

Understand this it may seem like small town politics or minor issues but once your government bodies control the water and the farm industry they own you body and soul.  They control what they plant, when they plant, what and if you eat.   

I bring this up after checking up on our local PMNRD, they have helped big business with major developments while charging the taxpayer thru bonds and taxes, and yet what benefit is that to us?  Your average overtaxed working citizen paying for our own demise.

Restricting farmers from using their own water and allowing unlimited watering in Omaha and Lincoln. Charging $10 per irrigated acre on the farmers backs and asking them why they have a problem with this because they are all driving new trucks and tractors? This is highly offensive and quite ignorant. In the end taxes and costs get passed on so it’s also shortsighted. We are regulating the family farm out of business and making giant conglomerations the norm, which in the end will hurt us all. What next! People we need to attend these NRD meetings and state meetings, the land and water grabs are unprecedented. And don’t doubt you could be next, it’s all for the greater good you see.

Questions from my kids, can you please help???

So tonight after a long tiring day I arrived home after standing in line at the grocery store for 3 hours waiting my turn to have a chance at a loaf of stale bread, a small bag of rice and bottle of milk.  As I was greeted at the door my children looked at me expectantly to see what goods I had been able to acquire.  I have to say I felt a little ashamed as I saw the hunger and anticipation in their eyes and thought how little can I take without hurting them and making them feel guilty for taking food from their mother.

And as I took the time to boil water to prepare the rice and what little I could scavenge from the bare cupboards,  I wasn’t surprised that the kids asked if I could answer a few questions for them….  What were those questions do you ask?  Let me share them with you now.  

My son who as a young man feels the bitter sting of youth passing him by with no chance at a promising future as a businessman, farmer, or  laborer as he knows our past generations thrived in our family started off by asking these questions:

“Mom, remember all the time you invested in running me around to baseball, football and wrestling practice?  Well during that time did you ever wonder what importance these activities would play in my life?   Did you ever think that by the time I was able to move out and start a career that I wouldn’t have that chance and that at 30 years of age I would still be living at home with you??”

And here my daughter piped in  ” mom if you knew what you know now would you have done anything different?”  ” Did you know that we would have to tip toe around ever careful of what we said and careful not to upset or offend our government operatives for fear of our rations being taken away, or property taken from us?”

And then the question started flying fast and furiously, as they knew they needed to let the questions pour out and air out in the quiet of our home before the anger and the frustration bubbled out in front of those who would turn us in for the slightest offence in hopes of a reward that would benefit them…

“Why did you let them take away your guns?  Why did you let them tell you where you could work, when you could work and what you were allowed to produce?  Why would you allow them to take the old family farm where we were able to grow crops that we wanted and needed that we used for our livelihood?  Why did you not speak up when you were paying taxes at a 7% rate, 25% rate, 45% rate?  Why didn’t you speak up, why didn’t you protest, speak out, beg others to see the writing on the wall!!?? Why did you keep investing hours in things that when it comes down to it don’t matter, that are a distant memory, that gave us a taste of freedom and a life that we can never have again, and our children if we are allowed to have children, they will never get to experience???   How could this all come to be?  Didn’t you know better?  Didn’t you discuss our vanishing rights and freedoms with other people who cared?  Did everyone actually choose to live like this???”

Well here is how I answered or if you haven’t already guessed, these are the hypothetical questions I can picture my children asking me in 10 years 15 years max at the rate we are ALLOWING ourselves to be put in a position to have to answer.

Kids, I know that sometimes I was kept busy with things you may not have understood, or you may not have cared about at the time but I did try.  I tried to get my fellow citizens to appreciate all the wonderful freedoms that our forefathers fought and died for.  I tried to impress upon them that whether it be by a phone call, email, or by attending a meeting,  1 hour a week, month, a year that we needed each and everyone speak out for our right to property, the right to bear arms, the God given right to earn a living without being taxed to death.  And many people heard me, believed me, but thought they had time, time to either fix things if they got too bad, or as long as it didn’t affect them personally then how bad could it be.  They thought that the government was there to help them, to protect them, never realizing that by growing larger and less restricted and unfettered that the government could be taken over by those who actually wished to enslave, indoctrinate and destroy the very freedoms and lives it originally started out to protect.  Or maybe they thought that a few of us could save them all from themselves. From the evil that was growing and choking out the bright futures that each and everyone of them thought you our children would be able to experience as they had experienced, their parents experienced and the generations previous experienced. 

I don’t mean to cast blame, or to guilt anyone to into believing as I believe or anything other then encouraging each and everyone to take stock in your life.  Do you enjoy the right to bear arms?  Do you enjoy working for a living?  Do you enjoy owning property and making decisions for yourself and your family?  Do you understand that as things stand the chances of your children being able to survive and thrive are slipping away and once lost it will be slim to none that they ever get the chances we had, our parents and their parents had?

Our rights are being stripped from us one by one, little by little in hopes that one day every aspect of your life and your child’s life will be decided by Masters, masters from the government plantation will plan and plot their lives for them from cradle to grave, and if you want to be fed, housed and allowed to walk about in the restricted freedom that’s allotted you, you best play by their rules, which are never written in stone, rules that change with the wind in order for the government to remain all powerful, all knowing, all ruling.

I give you the following truths, facts that you  will hopefully look into for your own satisfaction.  I am not pulling them from thin air, I have the proof to back them up.  I ask you to think, think of what you want for your children think of what you do for your kids so they can enjoy all the activities, freedoms they current have.  Do you have time to continue to ignore the changes on our horizon in hopes that things turn out for the best?  Do you want to look  into your children’s eyes and have to answer their questions knowing you could have made a difference and whether it does make a difference or not do you want to risk telling them you knew what was going on and you did nothing to help save them, to help save the future for their children and for the children of the world? 

1. Income tax:  I have a God given right to earn a living without taxation. 
2. Property Tax: outrageously high and repetitive
3. Sales Tax: outrageously high and prohibitive to those trying to make their way in this world
4. All three reduce business opportunities for the citizens of this United States of America as well as discourage businesses from relocating or starting a business.  Nebraska has been ranked 3^rd worst state in the nation for Taxes that’s UNREAL. 
5. A Fair tax or consumption tax drives business, development and a prosperous nation with prosperous citizens.
6. Illegals, by pushing for amnesty and allowing our nation to become a magnet for criminals and terrorists  alike  you not only waste and use my tax money for illegal purposes, but you endanger the lives of every citizen in this nation.  25 Americans die at the hands of an illegal alien each and every day.  Be it by DUI, rape, murder the list goes on and on.  Illegal is  not  a race it’s a crime.  And to expect law abiding tax paying citizens to continue with this practice is criminal.
7. The overreach of the federal government into our daily lives and the silence and capitulation by the elected officials, career politicians who are in it for themselves, not for the citizens and the future of a nations, this has been devastating and continues to plague our lives.  200 Agents, 8 helicopters and snipers  were able to wrangle cattle this weekend, but we cannot secure the border or remove illegals. BS  The EPA is restricting businesses and ruining family farms while allowing corporations and the government to put them out of business, telling them how they can do business and costing them dearly.  The next grab is water rights and once they control water and the farm industry, then they decide who eats, how much they eat and when they get to eat. 
8. Obamacare is against my personal liberties and should never have gone as far as it has, but for the silence of the Democrats is to be expected and from the Republicans  whom we thought to have some common sense and as  who mostly have been disappointing  and deafening, we do not want to repair or fix it, we want it repealed.   My healthcare has been ruined and not only do I pay  more, I have less coverage.  I have told my children they had better be gravely ill before they ever need to be seen because I cannot afford it. ( unless I pretend they are illegal or that I am unemployed)
9. Entitlements.  The welfare system both state and federally has run away and lost common sense.  Its unfixable and needs removed period.  Turn to churches, business and private organizations there is no other way to repair this, people have become generational life time users of the system and they will not give it up, they in fact feel entitled and further abuse the system each and every year, on the back of workers who are being pushed to  levels of taxation that are unfair and unreasonable.

No more complacency, compliance and agreement with the destruction of my liberties and my children’s future.  That’s my proposal for you.  We need immediate fixes and if they do not happen rapidly you won’t need to run for office again, people will be appointed and citizens will be nothing more than cogs in the wheel of a  giant communist  machine.

We are there and we have surpassed any level of acceptance.    I ask any of you who truly care for your children to actively join with your local tea parties, independents and libertarians, anyone whom you can find to work with to immediately correct and repair the damages we have allowed to slip past us.   Anytime you invest is well worth your child’s future happiness and prosperity. 

Your children and their children thank you for any and all efforts in helping secure their freedom and chances for a happy future.

Apathy and Ignorance take your Pick, is Obamacare the Beginning of End??

I am tired of sitting quietly while the left insanely spouts nonsense about Obamacare and calls it a success, and while the sheeple clamor for more and more handouts and entitlements.  And then the worst of the worst, the GOP establishment, elected officials and others who say they despise dislike and don’t agree with Obamacare, but that there are fixes that can be made.  These people are the worst of the worst, they have to know Obamacare is a violation of all truths that the constitution and true conservatives hold dear.  Obamacare is not something I want fixed.  You cannot fix something that at the creation violates my rights to life liberty and the pursuit of happiness, you have no right to force health insurance on anyone nor do you have the right to force me to pay for anyone else’s healthcare, besides the fact I am tired of paying for every other do good cost me $$$ social program that’s slammed on my working broken back. This has destroyed what was good in the healthcare system and …for those that wanted Obamacare and voted for this man (yes he is but a man) to the front of the line for you, and if they offer you a free cruise on Vallhalla cruises I recommend you turn it down.  By the way the chief architects of Obamacare believe if you are under 14 and have not provided anything of benefit to society you go to the bottom of the medicine worthy list (it will be ok for you to die), over 50 you no longer produce enough and are no longer as worthy of medical assistance, get to the back of the line.  I never thought Americans would be so stupid,  absolutely stupid, then again I have researched the Holocaust for years and sheep are easily led to the slaughter.  The rail cars are being assembled as we speak, while we are still allowed to speak.

Nebraska, A Unique Opportunity for the Taxpaying Citizen

Tonight I attended a monthly meeting of the Nebraska Tax Payers for Freedom, and while at the meeting the audience was asked a question.  How many houses are there in the state capital?  And she asked for everyone who thought there was 1 to please raise their hands, and my oh my how fast many of our hands went up, because as we all know so well we are the only Unicameral in the United States of America, so of course how could the answer be anything other than 1?  And then the answer……2…yes she said 2 and we all looked at each other and thought what???

And then she went on to remind us that Nebraska while being unusual with having the Unicameral has one other unusual aspect, with few exceptions bills must have public hearings, where the 2nd house comes into play.  We the taxpayers are the second house, we have the right and a duty to ourselves, and our futures and as well as our children’s futures to speak  and be heard.  Whether in favor or in opposition to bills.  Everything they vote on, every bill they pass affects us on a daily, yearly, decade basis and to not use the ability to be that house that holds elected officials in check is unwise and neglectful of our duties as citizens of Nebraska and these United States.  The advantage we have been given over other states is incredible, and even more incredibly we don’t know or we do and don’t use this prime example of the 1st Amendment, Freedom of Speech.  Our neighbors and other states in The United States, what would they give for this wonderful opportunity!!

So I impress upon you a few things at this point, get active in little ways or big ways, it can all add up.  We as a group of citizens were able to help our representatives understand our desire for them to vote no against LB 887, the Medicaid expansion bill.  While I couldn’t ride the bus down to Lincoln on Tuesday where approximately 100 fellow taxpayers went and simply asked for a few minutes time to ask the senators to vote against this bill, I facebooked, twittered, emailed, and contacted as many Senators as I could when I could.

Each person had an affect and will continue to have an affect if we have more people involved.  We need more people to help, its critical for us to continue with the momentum regaining ground and bringing our great state and nation back to the power of the people not just the elected few.   Taking 10 minutes a day to contact 2 elected officials, taking 10 minutes a week could make the difference between remaining a thriving happy free people or succumbing to the future that is being planned for us by officials who either don’t know any better or who truly desire the destruction of the United States of America, either way we can be content to sit back and let whatever happen or we take control and shape our destiny. 

Either way the decision is ours at this point.  Do you not want bigger, better and brighter than the dismal future the left and some of the right are laying out for you?

And last but not least win or lose take a minute to thank your elected officials when they make the right decision or vote for you, if they disappoint you let them know that as well. If they are hearing from you, they know you are paying attention to their actions.

“There is no sense or reason in having the same thing done twice, especially if it is to be done by two bodies of men elected in the same way and having the same jurisdiction.”

The Untouchables

So tonight I sat down to look at local state news on our local newspapers online twitter section and when I saw something that peaked my interest, I went to retweet it of course. And to my surprise local legislator Nordquist of NE has blocked me and is not allowing me to retweet his tweets.

What crap, he calls other legislators out trying to preen as many elected officials do, but a lowly legal citizen of his state a mother, tax payer, being allowed to retweet, something he obviously has tweeted and believes in, that is not kosher.  If what you are tweeting is true and you believe it, why would anyone be prevented from retweeting?

Whether I  elected him or not he is an elected official in my state and I find it odd that as long as a someone keeps a retweet or tweet clean, and no dirty language why would you not allow a retweet?  I thought long and hard on this (for about 1 minute tops) and realized that people like Nordquist have their own agenda, and it does not include legal citizens, working citizens, who pay the bills, who pay his bills, who pay for the giant monstrous laws and taxes and burdens they place on our already broken backs.  Their ideology, beliefs and purpose in life make no common sense, no fiscal sense and he cannot risk disruption of the cradle to grave process that is being laid out for the citizens of our great state and great nation.

Legal Citizens, Patriots, Voters be you Republican, Democrat, Independent, Libertarian we must unite and take our nation back from these party hacks who are rendering our nation unrecognizable.  The lifers, career politicians, corrupt officials must be removed from their positions of power now.  We are rapidly approaching the final decline where we will have no options left to us, other than submission. 

We can either be that shiny beacon on the hill of freedom, prosperity and a wonderful leading future, or we can be innocent citizens left to suffer the fate of the masses slaughtered on the streets or loaded on rail cars to a future unknown.  You say it cannot happen, I say it has time and time again.

Decide here and now.

 

Silence = Submission and Acceptance

There comes a time when men and women of good conscience must decide, continue on and hope for the best, or change course.  It may mean sacrifices, sacrifice of time, energy, money, sacrifice of good favor, and much more. But what do we sacrifice for? For our children, for their children, for our freedom, for our way of life, for everything those who have come before us were willing to fight and die for.

We have much to do and much to make up for.  We have been quiet, we have been content to give, and give, and have our rights stripped away from us one by one, til today when we stand in the midst of enemies, and traitors of the American way of life. They continue to strike and greedily take what’s left of our hard work, our morals, and our goodwill.

What can we do those who truly care ask?? I say get active locally, at a state level at a federal level now! Be a voice, be a face now or you will soon have nothing.   We will all be equals in the share of vast emptiness.  Empty of power, empty jobs, empty bellies, empty of joy, happiness and with the reminder of condemnation in our children’s eyes, knowing that we did and said nothing as their futures were stolen, and given away freely by those who did not value sacrifice, did not value the freedoms we had which will not be the future for our children and their children and for the United States of America.

We stand at the edge of many a future, which one are you willing to risk?

Scrutinize your your government, question, and hold them responsible for their decisions, if you wait it will be to late. Too few are trying with no rest, no relief and without patriot participation the future may be lost.  We each must do our part, it will take everyone to win this battle

Experiments Americans Results

Tomorrow I will be attending a monthly meeting, the Nebraska Tax Payers for Freedom meeting.  The meeting is held on a Wednesday evening, 6:30 pm.  The normal meeting has discussions regarding all aspects for our local community. A city watch, the school watch,  a assigned watch for each aspect of local government, great ways for the average citizen to catch up on the many government processes that go on around them on a daily basis.  They will also have two candidates there tomorrow who will most likely explain their platform, and then depending on our interest we will get to throw them a few questions. 

Now I want to ask, how many people usually attend?  While I have only begun to attend  meetings regularly, I would say they average 60 people.  Most the same faces each and very meeting I attend.  Great that 60 people are interested in having a say in the very operations and government doings that impact our lives on a daily basis, or GOOD G_D!   60 or so people out a city wide area that has approximately 450,000+ population.  That means .00013333 less than a 10th of 1% of the population is showing up to learn about the very decisions being made that affect every aspect of their lives.   Now I know everyone gets busy, I know some people are not interested in politics, however this is not all about politics and irregardless. How can anyone complain about politicians or the actions of cities, politicians and other governmental agencies after the fact?   60 people cannot save you from yourselves, from failed government policies that will not only affect you, but will affect your pocketbook, your homes, your schools, your children and their futures.

Help us help you, show up once in awhile. If you would only pay attention to what is going on around you, even once a week, once a month we could fix things, stop things, bring out the actions from what is  shrouded in darkness and mystery, because the majority of America reacts instead of making their voices heard before the votes.  You the American public have made it very easy for both parties to act as a unified body, to do whatever they want with little repercussions.  

So I ask for a few new faces, a few new voices show up for our meeting, get enlightened, get enthused, just get informed.  I will be there no matter because though the pessimist in me has grave doubts for our future, I have a little optimist in me as well, that hopes against hope that someone new will show, that someone else will help carry the torch, lift the burden from the struggling few so that we all win, all of America, especially our children and their futures.  Prove the pessimist wrong… show up tomorrow, you have time for your future, don’t you???

Am I Alice? Is this Wonderland?

Just when I feel as if the view of our world, our nation cannot possibly get any more skewed, I open up the paper and read an report with comments from Democratic Senator Keith Ellison of Minnesota.  Mr. Ellison claims that Americans should embrace working less, and that in working less hours we will have more time with our families, the ability to eat dinner at our dining room tables and the ability to cook at home and not worry about grabbing take out in our rush home in the evenings.

I had to sit and ponder, have I slipped through a rabbit hole? A worm hole?  Does he believe this nonsense he is spouting? Does the public believe this crap being shoved down our throat?  If so your children and my children will look back and ponder at the madness that we are allowing ourselves to be duped by.

Less hours at work will mean very little to the family who sits down to a barren empty dinner table.  Retiring when working and living paycheck to paycheck is but a fleeting vision for many American households.  Increasing your public welfare programs, the largest which is the Ponzi scheme of Obamacare, and the increasing tax burdens being place on Americans backs leads me to agree with Mr. Ellison on one thing. That yes Americans will have less working hours and more hours to sit and wonder how it all went so wrong, thoughts of what we once had, and what we now need, food for our families, a good paying job that brings self worth and pride, creature comforts, home ownership, you know all the little things that are being stripped from Americans on a daily basis, the lists go on and on. Oh the hours we will have free to dwell on those things. 

The criminals and fools who will continue to bleat out this propaganda should be ashamed. The remainder of the elected officials who sit quietly while pretending to faintly bleat out small protests and continue to feed off the conservative voting base, you will also be held responsible.  Prepare to join all the happy folk who love not working more hours who love sitting back and thinking of what was.  I see your future and it looks UNEMPLOYED.
